Extender set up using an Ethernet cable

• Placement of extender is the most important step before setting up the devices. Extender receives weak signals if you place is too far, and signal transmission quality declines if it is too close. So, the idle distance is about 100 ft. between extender and the router.
• Connect the Ethernet cable from one end with the extender port and with router LAN port from the other.
• Once you plug in the extender with a power outlet, it will automatically connect with your router.

Extender set up with WPS

If you would like to setup devices WPS method, you need to have extender’s SSID and password details. You just need to press the WPS buttons on both the devices for a quick Altice WiFi extender set up.

• Place both extender and router close to each other.
• Plug in the extender into a power outlet and switch it on.
• Wait till you notice WiFi symbol blinking on the extender.
• Now you can press the WPS button on the router.
• After this, press the WPS button the extender as well, keep pressing for at least two seconds.
• Once the solid white light start flashing on the WiFi symbol indicates a firm connection.
• Now you can unplug the extender and place it in the low network zone of the premises.

Connect your PC or mobile with your router WiFi network. In the address bar of web browser type http://myrepeater.net login

Login window pops up; you can feed in the username and password. Select OK, you will reach the dashboard.

This is an indication that the extender is not connected with the router appropriately. You can restart both the devices and check. If nothing works, then push the Reset button on the back of the extender and repeat the setup process.

IP Address is not working

Always enter correct IP address that is 192.168.10.1. If anyhow after repeated attempts you fail to login then enter URL instead of IP address.
